Today I listed a few new items in My Etsy Shop and tweeted them.  Hoping to get some sales this week.  I need to start making sales or I'm going to go broke listing, lol. 

No sales on Etsy still...I've done everything to correct my listings and the views are up thanks to my twitter account but no takers on my pretty jewelry pieces.  It is frustrating but hopefully someday soon things will pick up and the art of tatting will not die.  It would be a shame to let something so beautiful die out.  I'd love to see the stars wearing something so delicate even if it isn't mine.

Im thinking of doing some crocheting to break the monotony.  I need some new fresh pieces to do and I think that may help.  Maybe some chokers and bracelets.  I dont know but for now its bedtime for me.  Nighty-night all and sleep well.

Trying to figure out what to do with this motif.  It isn't original but i can use it to make a piece that is not copying anyone else.  I'm thinking barefoot sandals.  Anyone have any ideas about other things I could do with it?

I have the purple/light purple hearts a plenty bracelet in the shop now and worked on more of the cuff bracelets in varying colors.

I had planned on working on something unique today, something of my own design, but somehow I just cannot figure out how to even get started.  I keep wanting to look at stuff online, more patterns.  I'm thinking that something online will give me an idea of where to get started.  This may take a few days to get inspired since I am used to working from other people's patterns.

This Heart bracelet/anklet is the only thing I've done on my own and it was an accident that I came across it.  Oh well, here's to more accidents becoming beautiful pieces lol.

I now have these in my Etsy shop and Ebay shop in pink/white and red/white.  I have to say, Etsy is a tough cookie to break into as there is soooo much tatting there and most of it is very high quality.  I consider mine to be a high quality too, but I've yet to get the views or orders to sustain me staying there for much longer.

Started on twitter today, hoping to get some followers soon so I can grow my business on Etsy and Ebay (knotguiltyred).  Ebay is doing a little business with one return customer but Etsy is seemingly a bust.  I haven't been at it very long but it is getting discouraging every day with no sales.

Of course I was wrong about my last post.  She asked me not to sell things made from her patterns on Etsy and I really should respect her designs.  I really do like TotusMel.  I was just acting out as a side effect to losing someone I love.  I've apologized to her, though and hopefully made things right between us.

On to tatting.  I want to work on something today but I just cannot settle on one thing.  Having trouble getting interested in anything.  I'd like to keep my mind busy on anything but my loss but it seems today it may take me over whether I like it or not.

Been completely bummed out over an argument about me selling items from another persons pattern.  If you don't want me selling the finished product then don't sell the pattern.  It's that simple.  If you want the monopoly on the project then don't sell the pattern or post it online for free.  Come on.  And don't TELL me what I can and cannot do with my material and time and energy.  Thank you TotusMel for ruining tatting and Etsy for me.

Haven't felt much like tatting today but I started the cuff bracelet last night and it's coming along nicely.  I've been looking at tatting patterns by TotusMel and dying to buy the pattern books by Marilee Rockley.  She has some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever seen.  Oh well, until tomorrow when I get paid I will just have to wait lol.

WOOT!!!!!  All done tatting the first fingerless glove for the set.  Next are going to be the cuff bracelets of the same pattern only smaller.  This pattern is somewhere between simple and complicated lol.  It's a simple design but if you're not paying attention to the direction each section takes then you'll end up with a tangled mess.  Gotta hand it to the creator of this pattern from Etsy seller SnapdragonLace.  It's genious!  Admittedly though, I should have made the finger ring part a little longer, but hey it's a learning experience right?

Day 2 on my pattern.  I didn't get to do much yesterday as I had some household things to do but I'm already almost halfway done with it!!!!!  It's turning out so beautiful.  As soon as it is done I plan on listing it on My Etsy shop.  After that is done I think I may rework the patter to a half and make it a cuff and see how well that does.  Maybe a nice red or blue for that one.  Here's the progress on the fingerless glove:

WOW!!!  Tatting is new to me this year but I am really starting to get the hang of it.  Starting to sell some of my things on Etsy and Ebay and got my first sale on both just this Saturday.  Isn't it amazing?

Here's what I'm working on now.  It's a fingerless glove that I found the pattern for and I think it's going to be beautiful!!!  I'll post pics as I progress through the pattern.
